'Size 0' chocs just as sweet
Chocolatier was recently held at The Grand Salon, Le Meridien Hotel.
JessieChantelle Chocolatier is a premium chocolatier company, conceptualised and started by Chantelle Chuah in 2009.
Chuah is a business finance graduate and also Miss Malaysia International 2010. Katharine Brown, who is Miss UK 2010, was here to assist her launch JessieChantelle Chocolatier's new range of "Size 0" celebrity series of premium chocolates which comes in three options.
The first is "Skinny" which is made of milk chocolate with less sugar and is for chocoholics who wish to remain slim and trim.
"Health Freaks", for those who are health-conscious and concerned about sugar intake, is made up of dark chocolate.
The "Zero Cals", also made up of dark chocolate, is for sport-loving chocoholics with a passion for remaining fit and healthy.
This range of "Size 0" chocolate bars is specially made for health-conscious consumers, who are chocoholics but who are also extremely focused on their diet.
These chocolate bars have maltitol, which is a natural sugar substitute making them sugar-free. The calories are specified in each bar and suggestions are even given on how to burn them off.
JessieChantelle Chocolatier was recently revamped in a strategic alliance with Lavand, a proven upmarket chocolate producer, and Lejadi Group Associates (who has taken a substantial equity stake in the company) while Chua remains as the company's managing director and single-largest shareholder.
In January this year, JessieChantelle Chocolatier re-launched its range of celebrity series of individually wrapped, premium chocolates which are now produced using an exclusive Swiss formula sourced from a family-owned, chocolate boutique in Switzerland. They are manufactured under stringent, quality control, thus making them among the finest chocolates available in this part of the world.
As part of its corporate social responsibility objectives, five per cent of gross sales proceeds from the entire range of premium chocolates will be given to charitable NGOs including the Lejadi Foundation.
JessieChantelle range of chocolates is available at Giant and Cold Storage supermarkets as well as Guardian pharmacies.
